Hopefully it was transient (like us!) because yesterday I was taking at
least 6 failed attempts to connect with Genesis on the '4591 number,
tonight it's been fine 3 goes in a row. Oddly enough though, when I use the
'2001 number I pretty much always get a yellow-alert over and over 'til
finally connected and then sometimes get massive chipmem drain 'til this
causes the system to stop being worthy!?
What was peeving me yesterday was I could connect with the time-limited demo
MiamiDX ok, and even TermiteTCP, just not the particular setup I had
configured and decided to go with. Since I have no credit card or bank
account I pretty much rely on an OffPeak-with-billing-on-BT service. :-\
Since I can imagine this may become more frequent I will try and get MiamiDx
registered when I get some more info, (BTW thanks for the info on that
Jon).
